The Cyber Innovation Center is working with Louisiana Tech University and Bossier Parish Community College to design a fully integrated, 21st Century high school curriculum. These courses will not only engage students through project-based learning and technology, but will also help students make the connection between STEM concepts and real-world application.
In addition, these courses will focus on providing students with a sound understanding of the fundamentals. Courses will fully integrate STEM concepts, 21stCentury skills (problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, communication, etc.), and technology. All courses are being designed using proven models that include NASA Threads and programs funded by the Department of Education and the National Science Foundation.
