Advisory Council

Science & Technology Advisory Council (STAC) will

  • Guide the CIC in fulfilling its science and technology mission;
  • Provide connections to other agencies with interest in cyber related R&D; and,
  • Meet on a regular basis to discuss advancements in cyber technologies, identify areas of needed research and establish requirements for future research.

The STAC members are knowledgeable and influential leaders from industry, academia and government.  Their support is critical to the CIC fulfilling its science and technology mission.

Science & Technology

Science & Technology (S&T) Mission:

Successful cyber operations will require the identification and rapid transition of emerging technologies from academia, through R&D and industrial community, into the hands of well trained cyber operators.  This requires targeted funding and prototyping, the selection of operational promising technology and cyber operators who are abreast of the latest tools and their use.
