CYBER.ORG Updates National K-12 Cybersecurity and AI Learning Standards for a Changing Workforce

Today, CYBER.ORG, the academic initiative of the Cyber Innovation Center, announced its updated National K-12 Cybersecurity and AI Learning Standards, providing schools and educators with a framework for what students should know and be able to do, as AI and emerging technologies reshape the skills needed for college, careers and everyday life.
The skills required to succeed in the workforce are changing quickly. The World Economic Forum estimates that nearly 40% of skills required on the job will change by 2030, with AI and big data, networks and cybersecurity, and technology literacy ranking among the fastest-growing skill areas. For schools, that shift raises an increasingly urgent question: How do we prepare students for technologies and careers that are evolving faster than traditional curriculum development?
