South Highlands Elementary students learn AI to help others

KTBS: Third-grader Adeline Kirsch is among a group of South Highlands Elementary Magnet students participating in the Presidential AI Challenge.

Students in grades 3 through 5 have spent several weeks exploring artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and coding while developing solutions to real-life problems.

Adeline shared her excitement about the project, saying, “The fun part about it is using AI and spending time with my friends.”

She added, “I’ve discovered that there’s many ways that you can use AI to do something kind for others.”
